Beat The Heat With This Summer Essential Kit

Our skin needs some more care and protection during the summer season. The scorching sun and unbearable heat can cause considerable damage to our skin. In addition, the lack of skin glow and natural moisture can be tough to deal with. But with the presence of the Deyga Organics Summer Essential Kit, you can easily beat the heat.

Deyga Organics is an organic skincare brand launched in the year 2017. It focuses on the natural and organic way to care for a body. The brand name 'Deyga', which seems to be pretty exciting and different, has come out from the Tamil word - Deygam, which means 'body'. Its founder name is Arthi Raghuram.

Lovely Tiny Things got the opportunity to review Deyga Summer Essential Kit. This summer essential kit is comprised of the following products:

The total price of the Deyga Organics Summer Essential Kit is INR 1929. Each product has been used for ten days regularly as per the direction to use mentioned on the pack. The products have been used on oily and sensitive skin.

Deyga Sunscreen - SPF 30 UVA|UVB

Deyga Sunscreen comes with an infusion of SPF 30 to protect your skin from UVA and UVB rays of the sun. It comes in a fibre jar pack of 100ml with a protection lid, which prevents any accidental leakage of the product.

The texture and the formula of Deyga Sunscreen are entirely different from any other sunscreen available in the market. It is oily but not sticky. It keeps your skin comfortable and light. It does not leave any white cast behind on your face, neither makes your skin sweaty or warm.

The consistency of Deyga Sunscreen is runny, but it becomes normal if you refrigerate the product after every use. And this is what the brand mentions on its product. Furthermore, keeping the product in the refrigerator after its use helps to maintain its shelf life.

The product's fragrance is not so impressive because it clearly says that none of their product has any artificial presence - be it a fragrance or any other ingredient.

Deyga Sunscreen does not let your skin look tan or red while outdoors; however, skin feels a bit of stickiness after its repeat application.

Deyga Organics Sunscreen price: INR 600

Ingredients (as per the product packaging) are listed below:

  • Raspberry Seed Oil

  • Carrot Seed Oil

  • Natural Zinc Oxide

  • Almond Oil

  • Shea Butter

  • Bees Wax

  • Vitamin E Oil

  • Sunflower Oil

  • Olive Oil

Deyga Aloe Vera Gel

Deyga Aloe Vera Gel comes in a cold-pressed form. When someone applies it to the skin, they can feel the cool effect for few seconds. As per the ingredients list, Deyga Aloe Vera Gel has Aloe Barbadensis (cold-pressed), Aloe Vera Extract, and Aloe hydrosol.

The actual product is colourless, and it has no fragrance too. The consistency is gel-type, and the texture is also very proper and easy to manage. Deyga Organics Aloe Vera Gel comes in 100ml of fibre jar pack, and it retails for INR 390.

When applied, it does not feel very sticky or tacky; instead, it makes skin hydrated and comfortable. It is ideal to use at night before bedtime, and if been applied during the daytime, one should wash it after 30 minutes. Otherwise, one can feel a bit of dryness on the face.

Deyga Aloe Vera Gel makes skin soft and naturally glowing. Although it does not help with acne spots or pimples, the skin becomes smooth and plumpy.

Deyga Vanilla Talc-Free Powder

Deyga Organics Vanilla Talc-free powder is entirely different from the usual ones. It not only rejuvenates the skin, but also it also prevents the skin from perspiration. The texture is not that super-smooth, but the aroma which it leaves behind is something to appraise for.

The fragrance purely resembles Vanilla with a blend of caramel. It stays for a long time on the body. Deyga Vanilla Powder is good for all-time wear but not for men because of its fragrance. Otherwise, it does not dry up the skin, unlike any other dusting powder. It is hypoallergenic and non-toxic, hence good for all skin types.

The packaging is pretty simple with minimalist design and print. It comes in a plastic yet sturdy bottle of 100g and it retails for INR 600.

The ingredients of Deyga Vanilla Powder are as follows:

  • Organic Arrowroot powder

  • Kaolin clay

  • Corn Starch Powder

  • Vanilla Powder

  • Olive oil

  • Vanilla Essential oil

Deyga Charcoal Bath Bar

Deyga Charcoal Soap Bar is pretty new in its concept. This soap bar literally looks like a charcoal rock. It has no artificial or any other alluring fragrance, but it does its job very effectively. It deeply cleanses the skin leaving it fresh and clean. The regular usage of Deyga Charcoal Bath Bar makes the skin spotless and acne-free. It is a holy grail for oily skin people. It neither dry your skin nor keeps it oily. It is helpful in tan removal also. It lathers well on the skin and adds freshness to the body.

If the packaging is discussed, there is no such typical packaging associated with this product. Rather, it comes in a small cotton sling pouch with soft paper-wrapped upon. There is no ingredients list, no price information, nor any manufacturing information provided on the bag. However, the price of Deyga Charcoal Bath Bar is INR 410.

Final Takeaway from Lovely Tiny Things

Deyga Organics products are genuine, good and effective as per the claims, but there is still a lot of space available for improvisation. Performance-wise the products are good and suit all skin types. They do not lead to any skin rash or irritation. However, the product packaging can be improvised more and if possible, add some fragrance to the products - especially to the soap bar. The fragrance can be of any essential oil which can help to re-energise the body.

And lastly, the presence of a complete ingredients list helps to build trust, so it would be great if the complete list of ingredients is present on each product packaging.

To conclude, Lovely Tiny Things loved the effectiveness of the products by Deyga Organics and it recommends too.
